The cold has

When a group of brave scouts begin an expedition during a freezing December, the ordinary world slips out of place. One hundred and forty children have disappeared, and the clues lead somewhere older than any of them.
A dark spell bound within a torn page awakens a merciless tyrant from the past: King Edward ‘Longshanks’. Sent on a perilous quest prompted by Llewelyn ap Gruffud, five brave scouts must unlock the power of a golden heart, with the protection of proustite crystal bracelets, and guided by ancient, enchanted relics to face the rising shadow. But when time itself unravels, can five children save the lost souls before the dark claims them all?
